Last week was a big one: four covers in eight days! The last of which was this one, with a new client: US magazine The Weekly Standard. The WS has had some great artist grace the covers (Jack Davis was just a few weeks ago) so I was very chuffed to receive the commission.

Below is a quick process: sketch; inks, base colour, and final art. The magazine bumped up the saturation in the final layout, which looks pretty good. This was a very fun job, even with the time restraints!
