Restroom Rudd

This little spot illo was meant to be a cover, but unfortunately ol' Jules PM called an election so the story took a back seat. Luckily I had only got to the sketch stage, so I pared down the detail a little, and bumped up the 'cartoony-ness'.

When I was given the brief, I hadn't seen the story, but the gist is that a leading US climate change scholar (literally) bumped into ex-PM Kevin Rudd in a Washington bathroom, and they had a very heated exchange about the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), one of the issues that led to Rudd's downfall.
