‘Welsh Dragon’ Spectator Cover

Here is this week's Spectator Australia cover, featuring our new leader, Julia Gillard. Originally from Wales, she has become our first female Prime Minister. Luckily for me the Welsh Dragon (featured on the flag) is the same fiery red as Ms. Gillard's hair, so the connection was made for this illustration. In the foreground is opposition leader, Tony Abbott.
