From time to time I take on private commissions, and generally these take the form of caricatures. But this one is unique: I was asked to caricature myself (with MAD mascot Alfred E. Neuman)!

I must admit that I did need to double-check that I was to be doing a self portrait, and not one of the client. But yes, apparently the client is a big MAD magazine fan, and must love gazing upon freckly weirdoes and ugly doofus cartoonists. Each to their own.

Thanks to Mark Saskin for the fun commission! I had a blast drawing it.
